THE TEAM
Maria Aguiluz
Founder, Executive Producer
Maria has 18+ years experience in organizing, managing and executing activations & large-scale events to drive client initiatives and create unique customer experiences. Her sharp attention to detail, mega budget building skills, and ability to run a really tight ship are amongst her many strengths. Maria maintains a bright visionary approach to bringing concepts to life, navigating clients through all of the angles of how to achieve the best possible outcomes of their goals. Presentation and thoughtfulness drive everything Maria does and this a cornerstone that is ingrained into the company overall. She always goes the extra mile to ensure Pink Cactus Productions is providing experiences that wow!
She was born in San Antonio y’all, raised in Mexico, studied in Paris, and trained in Los Angeles – the entertainment capital of the world. She planted her roots in Austin with her husband/business partner, their son, their daughter and their black-lab rescue named Mac.
Maria serves on the Executive Committee of Women United and is always looking for ways to give back to the community.
Brittany Nelson
Executive Producer
With two decades of event experience, Brittany has been leading top productions for very elite group of clients. No job is too small, no task is too challenging for her amazing problem solving skills. Her expertise shines through every step of the production from budgeting, to time management, to project management to creative enhancement.
Her attention to detail, superb knowledge and extremely friendly personality make her an all-time favorite partner for clients.
Her latest endeavor has been developing a retreat center with full environmental and experiential programming in Costa Rica.
Chelsea Mansfield
Senior Event Producer
With over decade of experience in event design, production, and venue operations Chelsea thrives in understanding the client's needs and vision and crafting memorable brand experiences.
From launch parties to immersive experiential events to international conferences, her multifaceted expertise has optimized her approach. Chelsea specializes in designing and producing events that seamlessly blend creativity, precision, and strategic vision, always on time and on budget.
Her eye for design and attention to detail ensures that each event incorporates an optimal guest experience with an impactful brand narrative.

Bailey Alysse
Event Producer
In 2017 Bailey got her start in the events industry by launching art-centric showcases from concept through production. After discovering her natural knack for creating memorable experiences for all parties involved, she began her full-time pursuit in the events industry as a multi-venue events director.
Her exposure extends from talent buying night life headlining acts, coordination of creative showcase events to leading client relationships for corporate events.
Her appreciation for conceptualization, creative solutions and strength in emotional intelligence lend well to facilitating events that are considerate of all the possibilities, and the intuitive blending of client, vendor and guest relationships.
Cate Rocha
Event Producer
Catarina is a global events manager with over seven years of experience in creating impactful and immersive experiences across industries. Her journey into the events world began with a passion for crafting meaningful moments, which has since evolved into a full-time career of designing and executing large-scale productions.
Her expertise ranges from creative production and supplier coordination to meticulous event planning, always with a focus on delivering seamless and unforgettable results. Known for her adaptability and strategic mindset, Catarina thrives on collaborating with diverse teams to turn ambitious visions into reality while fostering meaningful connections among clients, vendors, and audiences alike.
With an appreciation for creative problem-solving and a talent for balancing the needs of all stakeholders, Catarina consistently delivers events that are as innovative as they are memorable.
Chief Business Officer-Multiplier
Luis is a leader in business and operations, a strategist and an Executive Producer.
He helps brands meet and exceed their goals by building and managing cross-functional teams that deliver impactful and highly-profitable integrated marketing and business solutions.
For over 18 years Luis has partnered with some of the world’s most iconic brands working with world-class teams to produce remarkable creative and effective content.
He serves on the Board of Directors of Marathon Kids and advises Storey, a bi-coastal startup that helps brands tell stories built specifically for e-commerce.
Creative Director
Amy is an idea generator, problem solver and artist that loves bringing to life creative solutions for her client's projects.
For over 15 years, she has had the privilege of working at some of the top agencies in the US. From starting her career at TBWA/Chiat/Day, where she established a strong foundation, to becoming a Creative Director at Deutsch and then a Group Creative Director at Possible. By working for shops big, small and of different disciplines, she gained a unique perspective in the advertising world.
Amy has had the good fortune of working in an industry that she loves and allows her to push her creativity every day.
Associate Creative Director/Copywriter
Catharine is an LA-based writer and creative who loves making brands feel a little more human.
She has spent her career coming up with ideas and writing across branded film, digital, and experiential projects for brands including Target, Walmart, Google, and ABC, both at agencies and on in-house brand teams.
