Write the Next Chapter
Target + TED
March 2014
When Target asked us to create their social space for the TED 2014: The Next Chapter, we were excited to explore creative ways to represent innovation through Target’s unique design lens. This led to a concept named “Write the Next Chapter,” a space that invited guests to interact with a handwriting robot, get their own handwriting analyzed, and watch a live artist sketching portraits comprised of hand-drawn quotes directly from the conference speakers.
The space itself was also a coffee bar, with seating overlooking the Vancouver harbor, which created a place for guests to contemplate and star creating their own next chapter.
Our role: Full ideation, creative design, planning and production with Deutsch.
