For the Love of Parks

Austin, Texas
May 2025

Back for its third year, For the Love of Parks brought the community together for a vibrant celebration of Travis County’s public lands and the many ways they enrich our lives. The 2025 festival leaned into connection, creativity, and outdoor exploration—showcasing how parks serve as gathering grounds, wellness spaces, and platforms for local culture.

This year’s event centered around the Discover Your Parks campaign, which spotlighted several of the 27 parks in the Travis County network. Through storytelling, signage, and programming, attendees were invited to learn what makes each park unique—from scenic trails and swimming holes to accessible playscapes, historical landmarks, and wildlife habitats.

Across Richard Moya Park, live music and sports brought energy and soul to the landscape, while hands-on workshops, and community-led experiences inspired visitors to slow down and truly engage with the natural world around them. The event aimed not only to celebrate the parks—but to encourage stewardship, repeat visits, and a deeper connection to the spaces that belong to us all.

OUR ROLE: Full ideation, support in creative development, planning, production, and on-site event management.
