A Mind for Design - Target + TED
February 2013
The mind is a powerful thing that must be exercised to keep growing and expanding. Each year, the world’s leading thinkers and influencers gather to do just that at the annual TED Conference.
To celebrate this, Target created a social space inspired by the creative minds at the 2013 TED Talks in Long Beach, CA. "A Mind for Design" featured a reactive environment that changed color as guests engage in the space and brainwave-inspired seating, where TEDsters could enjoy the conference.
Using EEG technology, attendees were able to experience different unique activities that exercised and challenged their minds and provided them with a "brainscope" based on the various categories.
